Cannot import clips from SD card

I'm very frustrated by now due to the fact that I can't re-import my clips that reference media on the camera. I've tried using the re-import from camera archive but that didn't work, the progress bar showed no sign of importing anything, and now I can't even import them directly from the SD card. Any help? I can clarify anything it needed.
